Understanding the problem
Market Research
As a team, we researched the current powered kitchen appliances and accessories on the marketplace to understand the existing market and potential unfilled niches.
User Interviews
We conducted several interviews with users within the client's defined demographic, trying to better understand their needs, wants, and expectations from kitchen appliances.
User Observation
The team also conducted user observations of some of the interviewees. In these observations we watched users go through their normal cooking routine to identify areas we could improve that the subject might be unaware of or used to.
